What it does

Keep It Down is a gel you take by the spoonful. It is made with sodium alginate, a fiber that comes from kelp. When alginate meets the acid that is already in your stomach, it sets. It turns from a runny gel into a soft, springy layer. That layer is lighter than the meal underneath it, so it rises and rests on top.

That is the whole idea. A soft lid, sitting on top of dinner, right where your food meets everything above it.

What is in it
